We had a great gathering with Dr. Jamie Marich on Wednesday, April 9th. For those who were able to come, thank you! Your willingness to embrace the space, be vulnerable and share your stories helped make the evening so powerful.
For those who were not able to make it, we missed you. But Jamie has already agreed to do another workshop this fall, date and time TBD. We’ll let you know via email and Facebook once we get that scheduled.
Meanwhile everyone - whether you were there or not - are invited to a follow-up gathering on Wednesday, April 30th. There will be a simple soup meal at 6:30 and then guided conversation / storytelling / writing at 7:00. We’ll be building on the prompts and themes Jamie raised last Wednesday, but we’re still shaping the evening, so if you have thoughts on what directions you might like to go, let us know.
If you hope to come to the April 30th follow-up, please register at the link below. We’re still figuring out how we’ll shape the evening, so if you have thoughts on directions you’d like to go, let us know.
Finally, this is the week when many of us are remembering the ancient story of Christ’s willingness to take on the hurt, pain, injustice, and power of our world and bring new life out of the mess. If you can, take a few moments to let your story mingle with that ancient story and see what words, thoughts or new stories emerge.
