About the Event

Sounds & Souls Community Drum Circle -First Saturdays of each month @ 10:00am.

The Drum Circle on June 7th will take place at Villa Maria as a segment of the Villa Maria-athon fundraiser. It will commence around 8:30 AM and continue until approximately 11:30 AM.

The 15th Annual Villa Maria-thon 5K Run/2 Mile Walk is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM on the scenic grounds of Villa Maria Community Center, rain or shine. If you would like to participate in the Run/Walk, go to the link below to register.

Registration

Led by Dan and Pam Susnay, Sounds and Souls creates space to grieve, space to heal or space to cope.  The rhythm of the drums connects participants to one another and to the divine while also allowing room for self expression.  Healing conversation between times of drumming allows deeper sharing.  The session closes with a sound bath consisting of calming tones produced ona singing bowl.

Drum sessions last a long hour.  No experience or musical ability is necessary.  All drums are provided.  The experience is free, but we do accept contributions to express gratitude for Dan and Pam's leadership.

HUB Core participants Dan and Pam have been leading prayer through drumming for over twenty years.

The combined drumming can be loud, so those who are noise sensitive may wish to bring ear plugs.
