The Last Season of Life: Conversations with Rebecca McCurdy
Last month Rebecca McCurdy offered an excellent workshop at United Presbyterian in Cuyahoga Falls on the spiritual practice of accompanying those who are dying. On April 25th & 26th she brings a version of that workshop to First Presbyterian in Columbiana.

A discussion with Rebecca McCurdy about the process of writing Gracious Living and the use of fiction to explore real-world relationships.
Saturday, April 25, 9:00 – 12:30 – Last Season of Life: Supporting the People we Love
Some very basic training in the spiritual practice of accompanying people in the journey toward death.
Each session is stand-alone, although participants will likely benefit from attending both if they are able. Sessions are free.
Gracious Living and Hospice 101 can be pre-ordered during registration for $15.
Rebecca McCurdy spent 30 years as manager of Volunteer Services for Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare in Wooster OH. Her writing focuses on the privilege of being allowed into the lives of individuals in the last season of their lives and the practice of supporting them in all the intensity and struggle of that poignant time of life.
